There is a famous proverb that ‘rings’ true in every household that, “It takes a village to raise a child”. We’re “Black’s Academy of Excellence”, a brand-new nonprofit organization in your community. We were born because of the damage caused from this devastating unexpected pandemic. Our goal is to help support the youth who reside here in Lake County.

We’re reaching out to you as a neighbor with a vested interest in seeing our community thrive. Our vision is great to help struggling youth, but as a new nonprofit financially it’s a huge challenge to undertake. Raising awareness for our cause and our work is crucial if we are going to make any kind of long-term impact!
